What's the difference between a wedding planner and a venue coordinator?

A venue coordinator works for the venue and is sometimes included in a venue package. Their focus is on maintaining the venue and making sure it is in tip top shape for your wedding. A wedding planner works for you and focuses on taking care of absolutely every detail for you.

At what point should I hire a wedding planner?

At any time. We will help guide you to a package that suits your specific needs. We can step in at the beginning to give you the full experience, or at the end to tie up any loose details and manage the big day. We can also step in at any time in the process and design a custom package for your needs.

If a venue coordinator is included in my venue package can I still hire a wedding planner?

Absolutely, yes! In fact, it is recommended. Tranquil Moon Events will work closely with the venue coordinator when the time comes, but the entirety of your plans will be handled by us!

My venue requires vendors to have insurance coverage. Are you insured?

Yes! we have a policy accepted by most venues!

If I hire Tranquil Moon Events can I still be involved in the planning process?

Yes! You can be involved as much or as little as you'd like. We'll keep you up to date on the progress of every step. We are your ally, advisor, and trusted hand at every stage. Together with your ideas and feedback, we will help you choose the best of the best for your big day.

What is "Day of Coordination"?

Simply put - we manage your big day by stepping in to execute the plans you have already made. We actually begin the process 2 months prior to your wedding day to go over all the details and get to know you. We will connect with the vendors you have chosen and work with them to finalize the details and timelines. We will handle all of the logistics from this point forward and will manage the wedding day to make sure everything runs smoothly while you savor every moment of your special day without worry.

Are you certified?

Yes! We are certified in wedding planning, design, and business. Christina also has a degree in design!

How much does a consultation cost?
